很意外地非常喜欢。从数个跟随背影的镜头狡黠地绕至人物的精神侧面，一场有预谋的性格本征拆解。Mat作为置入的变量导演Mara生活中自洽的紊乱：自诩理性的傲慢如何被悄悄松动，煞有介事的存在主义如何与生活的感受对抗。人类性格的缺陷是终究无法放弃自尊的伪饰，但结尾的归家也亦是心底某种似是而非的真实。

3.5 感觉是会被写进MLA歌里的“will they won't they” type，对人物状态和情绪的洞察与把控还是挺精准的，反复重复intimacy的建立-消散过程。

Halfway through the film, I was starting to wish there would be a Matt and Mara 2 in the future because I loved the dynamic between these two. That special person who you will never be afraid to be goofy and act like a fool in front of is kind of like a curse and blessing at the same time. And Matt Johnson embodied that perfectly.

双M情感线的的推进挺顺理成章，种种涟漪波动很微妙，最终收束却颇有些潦草，感觉像导演在把角色推入道德和情感的死胡同后不知如何收尾的偷懒。故事本身不太是我的菜。
